Skedulo Integration

A core functionality to delivering energy conservation programs is the ability to manage, schedule and optimize field resource (aka. the boots on the ground). The integration of Skedulo, a third party scheduling software, into GreenSaver’s CRM was a multi-phase project to manage different kinds of field resources, including Energy Advisors (phase 1) and Insulation Contracting companies (phase 2). The first phase of the integration transitioning the scheduling of Energy Advisors was also dependent on the parallel implementation of the Energy Conservation Hub. The first phase was complete after 10 months of planning, development, rigorous testing, and user acceptance, while the second phase was complete within 6 months after having learned from the first phase. Launching during COVID brought with it additional challenges, such as moving all training virtual, and was an extremely valuable experience. The integration has been pivotal to the organizations ability to quickly restart operations post pandemic restrictions and efficiently manage and optimize dynamic schedules.
